“Health is the fundamental building block, an Ultimate Life Principle, to living a free, fulfilled and happy life.”
In this episode of The Hidden Why podcast, I bring back to the show my mate Daniel Van Veluwen. Who is he? Just like you and I, he is a guy just trying to figure life out. Specifically, his interest is within the realms of health. On his personal journey, he has explored the “why” and “how” of health. He has adopted a holistic approach to health in efforts to optimise health and improve overall longevity.
Like my desire to exploring how to live life as fully as I can, his dedication is to health. He has been the catalyst for my personal and continuing improvement in health. As it relates to suffering, happiness, regret, and simply maximising out the ability to be capable and effective, I believe health a fundamental foundation to living a kick-ass life. (more…)

“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” Warren Buffett
I am very protective of my time. It sometimes leaves me feeling selfish. The fact is time is the one resource we have that we can never get more of. Being conscious of this I am aware of how I use my time and how I lend my time to others. Maybe I am selfish.
I am also compassionate and grateful for the life I get to live. I conscious of suffering in my life and that of others and by showing appreciation for what I have assists me to dissolve any suffering that may exist. (more…)

The real JB Glossinger – a person just like you, trying to work hard and make a difference in the world. Making many mistakes and have a share of failures along the way. His intentions have always been positive, but that doesn’t always lead to positive outcomes. This matters to both personal and business life. SO far he has had a variety of experiences in life yet despite all the amazing and not so amazing times he never found real peace and happiness, so I looked deep within and focused on spirituality and metaphysics, even earning a Ph.D. in the latter.
It was about that same time that he began to learn how to share his message including the launch of his highly rated podcast. (more…)

[audioplayer file="http://www.thehiddenwhy.com/?p=4120" titles="412: 3 Minute Thought – What is Power?" artists="Podcast" track="ffff00"]What is Power?
“What then is freedom? The power to live as one wishes.” Marcus Tullius Cicero
Power is the ability to do something or act in a particular way. The reason we crave power is that it gives us a greater sense of control, authority or influence over others.
Real power isn’t in the hands of those that attempt to put themselves into such positions in life. Trying to control all the is external can be fruitless without and lead to a life without greater meaning or reward.
Power gives us certainty in an uncertain life. Like a dollar in our hands gives us comfort in the thought that we will not starve yet when it is not there, what then? The power that is found in having control over external elements in life can easily disappear when external elements shift – and they often do. (more…)

Suffering: The state of experience of undergoing pain, distress or hardship.
