Constant Improvement
A Podcast by Leigh Martinuzzi
Kaizen (改善), is the Japanese word for “improvement”. Kaizen refers to activities that continually improve all functions as it may relate to business or our life.
Goals give us purpose. Of course, your goals need to be aligned with your values.
Often I veer off track. I lose focus, clarity and direction. I have to learn how to course correct. I am impatient and desire accomplishment. I crave success, as it matters to me. I think we all do in our unique ways. I feel frustrated when I am without goals. Life becomes messy.
The 5 For 5 practice is an uncomplicated tool to get us back on track. I always believe it is necessary to remind yourself of why – Why is this goal important? What’s the purpose? With that in mind focus on what works and eliminate what isn’t. Constant improvement.
