While we don’t discuss all 66 doable changes that Sam offers in her book, Start Right Where You Are, we certainly discuss how taking small steps can put you on your true path and take you towards living the life you desire. Enjoy this chat and please leave your comments below.

    Key Take Outs

    • How can I make this moment more me? We need to allow our authentic self to be expressed. What is your authentic self? Do what feels most comfortable and right. If there is resistance or struggle it is likely that is not the real you. In being more you in each moment you will allow greater expression of your inner self and this will move you forward on a truer journey in life.
    • Pay attention to how you feel and let your feelings be expressed. When you are pursuing your passion or in whatever you are doing connect with how it makes you feel this will allow you to decide if it’s worth continuing along that line. Also, don’t bottle your feelings because they will hang around until they are heard and they are only heard by acting on them.
    • Take action and enjoy the experience. Take a first step towards whatever it is you desire. It doesn’t have to be a major leap, just something that you can start doing that is easy to stick to. In this process not only will you be able to experience whether it is really what you want to be doing but you will create space for more great things to enter your life. Clear space and something will soon fill it.
    • If you are aware you are ready. Too often we procrastinate to getting started. This is dangerous because the longer we wait the longer we miss out on the real experience of life. If the thought of doing something is alive within you than you are ready and will never be more ready. Don’t wait! Taking action will allow you to experience what it is you seek and in that you can better decide if you like it or not and taking action will make room for new things to show up that your awareness will not be able to pick up on if you constantly thinking about one thing but not taking action on it.
