The mission of Life of Learning Foundation is to sow the seeds of higher self-knowledge into every corner of the world. Our purpose is to help individuals realize enhanced levels of self-reliance through self-illumination, in order that the lingering dark states of fear, hatred, injustice, and intolerance have no place left to hide. Our long-term intention is that the day dawns when hearts and minds everywhere are free of limitations inherent in negative emotions such as anger, depression, anxiety, and stress, having been replaced by kindness, compassion, and the love of higher wisdom.

You will just love the wisdom and inspiration shared in this episode. Guy takes us deep into connecting with our true self, letting go of dependency, becoming more present and walking a truer path in life. Let me know what you think below and enjoy!

    Key Take Outs

    • Why is it that despite everything I can have in life that there is still so many dissatisfied souls? The truth of life is that possessions or future moments of achievement will not bring greater happiness if your soul is not already satisfied. We must find that deeper connection within.
    • What I thought was going to free me became a prison. Often we chase something that we think will bring greater things into our life but they often become our trappings. Just look at how society tells us we should live, working jobs we hate to pay off debt for shit we don’t need. There is possibly not great freedom, fulfilment and happiness in this approach to life.
    • “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” When you start asking the questions and connecting with your deeper Self the opportunities and answers will come about. I believe we will not be truly ready under false pretences of Self for this is misguiding.
    • Negative states are like great white sharks pretending to be our friends. Thoughts of fear, anxiety, or anger are just Self-created limitations pretending to be our friends that do more harm than good. Just as we imagine them so do we create ways to deal with them but perhaps it is all just false perceptions of what is real, and likely arise from thoughts based on our Self attachment to the external environments.
    • Freedom has no condition. True freedom is conditionless. It comes without any boundaries, limitations or restrictions. To be truly free we first have to be free from ourselves.
    • The fear is real but the why is a lie.

Morning mindfulness followed by my writing.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

If you really love something than you didn’t put that love that you have for that thing within yourself. And if you didn’t then you can be assured that whatever put it there will ensure that you to succeed in finding it.

What is the meaning of success?

The meaning of success is being myself.
