Life’s Golden Ticket: A Story About Second Chances

“Grant me the strength to focus this week, to be mindful and present, to serve with excellence, to be a force of love.” Brendon Burchard

Are you just starting out on your personal transformational journey? If so, this book may be just the prefect starting point. Brandon shares a story of second chances. This is not a typical structured self-help book running through the does and donts of personal transformation – it is a story that takes you on a roller coaster ride.

Without giving too much of the magic of this book away I will focus on some of the key points and then reflect as to why its message is magic. Brendon tells a tale that I believe relates to his own personal journey of transformation. He puts it in a story format that makes for a really easy read. For those just starting out or tempting to make change to embark on their own personal transformation journey, the self-help industry can sometimes be a little off putting. Brendon’s book I feel helps overcome this obstacle.

He tells the story of a guy who visits an amusement park, for that we can all relate, and within his experience here, he is is taken by the hand on a journey. We all know how much fun theme parks can be and in this book you get to live that magic. Each chapter, on each ride, this guy receives powerful messages that assist him discover personal transformation. He is awoken to a second chance, something that we all have.

He discovers why it is essential to let go of the past and why placing blame and making excuses based on the past is a wasteful act in pursuing greatness. They have visions of the past that awaken him to the errors of his ways and help reinforce the need to make change. There are lessons of overcoming obstacles, facing fears, surrounding yourself by positive and wise people and how to love more deeply, in serving others.

Personal transformation is powerful and as I stated at the start of this it can be a little off putting to those just starting out. If you are looking for change, if life is not quite as you imagined it would be then you have the chance to make the change. The positivity and energy within the self-help industry can be overwhelming to those unfamiliar with such environments. However, like going to an amusement park, for that we all enjoy, you shouldn’t be deterred from the clowns and lions when starting out on your personal transformation.

It is on this journey that you will begin to feel alive again. If life is indeed not entirely as you wish it to be, the feelings you have within are likely not great. If you can close your eyes for a moment when you feel down, and simply think to a time in your life you were happiest, how does your immediate feeling change. On the journey of personal transformation, you start receiving these feeling more and more, all the time. It has power that I have trouble describing.

It is within transformation you grow and growth is a fundamental aspect that makes as as humans feel more alive. In growth we find excitement, we create more passion and this unleashes energy that transforms our state. A state of greater happiness, peace and purpose. Attitudes will transform and with a greater attitudes we handle life in all its glory and challenge with greater ease.

In personal transformation we start to really discover and live more alienged with ourselves. When we do this we really start connecting with the true meaning of life.

Grab a copy of Brandon’s book and make your step towards change. Self-discovery is the key to a successful existence. The book is exciting, fun and inspiring. It also has a great gift at the end that will keep you hooked in until its discovery. That gift is something so creative and so thoughtful. Enjoy.
