    • Reflect back and connect to your childhood. What you enjoyed as a child is a good measure to what you still may be passionate about today. Take time to reconnect with these passions and ask the question of how you may be able to re-incorporate it in your life.
    • Immerse yourself in personal development. This is the best way to improve you mental health and allow you to learn, grow and put yourself in a better position to lead a life of your desires.
    • Have actionable patience. Not to be confused with being lazy or without action but rather understanding that through action results wont necessary come immediately. Be patient.
    • Be persistent and consistent. The success comes to those that are persistent and consistent in whatever they do. At times it becomes tough, it can become monotonous and may even be irritating but be persistent and consistent and push through.
    • Read. Need I say more? Just pick up a book and start reading, if its not your cup of tea put it down and pick up another. Its key in self-exploration and personal development and links closely to the idea of constant learning and improvement.

    • Know who your mentors are. Who do you look up to and why? Perhaps your hero’s and what they do is a sign to what you enjoy and could also pursue.
    • Planning ahead. Don’t skip this step! Create a clear vision of where you wish to be and than break it down. What does the year look like, what does tomorrow look like. With a plan you can have better intentions and purpose to what you do. Remember plans will need to be liquid and adaptable as for most of the future is unpredictable.
    • Fishing principle. Our basic needs must to be meet before we can really learn, grow and serve others. Nourish yourself, mind, body and health first and then you will be able to really excel.

    What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

    Talk to more women. Better yet talk to more people. Get over the idea that you need to be a specific person to talk with another human.
